    electric water boiler

    i was wondering if anyone has installed an electric water boiler. i have a homeowner and that is all he wants to install in his 3 apartments. looking for help.

    never installed one but it couldnt be cheap to run im sure if you found the info on it and showed him the amp draws that it would use he would change his mind. It would be cheaper and probly do the same job if he just installed electric baseboard heat.

    Not cheaper on teh install part, if the apartments are already piped up with their own zones.

    They are easy to install. They use a good amount of electric.

    Make sure the electric services can handle the load.

    Tenants must be paying theoir own electric bills.

    I haven't installed any, but work on two regularly. Easy to work on.
    Beware of advice given by some guy on the Internet.

    electric water heater

    the homeowner piped the units and the renters are paying their own electric. it is in floor heating. i asked him to go with gas but he doesn't want anymore pipes or holes in the building. i told him he would be better off. but no luck

    He won't be better off.
    His tenants would be though.

    with infloor you run alot lower temps than with standard radiators so its not like you will be runing up to 180 i think your saposed to put 90 threw the pipes at the most. went to a rehau class last year and forgot most of it
