    ahu piping and motor covers what a shame

    what do you guys think i hate it when people use black pipe for everything. looks like crap after a short time. also have a picture of electricans covers just falling off....

    i have seen 30 year old black iron and it didn't look that bad. is it damp?

    I mean it is on a trane ahu and that piping is on a chilled water line.. Thought about switching it to brass or something. Its only some short nipples that are for draining etc.

    i didn't realize it was on a chiller. personly i would have used brass instead of blk.

    its not a chiller its just a standard commerical ahu with a chilled water coil.

    lots of time when pipefitting we use brass for anything exposed everything else black steal for chilled water ahu's
