inlet damper to ahu unit
this was a funny picture of what you can do with the proper size 2X4!!!! LOL LOL Was doing regular pm's in building and found these dampers this way. thought it would be funny to post.. If my link does not work please post and ill try to fix. thanks

Nice.
Typically I see a short piece of 2x4 jammed in between the blades. From the look of it they could "fix" several units with that one piece.

Found some 2X4s jammed in fire dampers in a school once. maint guy said he couldnt get the fusible link in so he used 2X4s

thats crazy i cannt beleive that someone would do that to fire dampers? Crazy stuff

Those wood damper links are a great way to save money, way cheaper than service calls and oem parts!
