    I wonder how it lasted that long. This would be a pricey, no warranty repair.

    Not rusted. Looks fine. Wash and keep going....

    Does it leak exhaust? What does the vent cap look like?

    No, it's definitely rusted at the bottom where it connects to the inducer. The cap on the roof looks fine but there is no way this is up to NYC code

    This is a condensing furnace. That needs to be vented in PVC, not through a B-vent.

    Yep, I was joking by my comment about it being fine. Obviously a safety hazard.

    They could have atleast run the intake through the old flue I can't imagine that not rusting out over 13 years...

    Or since they ran one just pull comb. Air from the space..is the intake actually piped or just a candy cane?
