    anyone else notice that the newer flare nuts are NOT standard but metric. maybe we are just buying the cheap stuff.
    I have to have both metric and standard flare wrenches now!!

    Yes they do. We used them on aluminum oxygen flare nuts which are quite easy to round off. The Kwik Tites worked great. The feature I liked was that it would ratchet back for the next swing.
    Aircraft Mechanical Accessories Technician. The Air Force changed the job title to Air Craft Environmental Systems Technician. But I've decided I'll always be a Mech Acc.
