Mouseover Hover Label in AX...
I have several floor plan graphics with associated zone temps/areas. I would like to add mouseover labels to pages. Anybody done this? Any ill effects? Best way?

I am also interested and have heard that it can be done. I will try to check on it.

I have found an xml tutorial at WC3 schools and have been going through it. I have tried to manipulate code in xml source of px page, but it fails to parse. Freddy-B, Digo, Chris, Code, calling you out. hehehe.

Also see this for some cool rollover effects:

I checked those out, the action button is looking for an image. The other would work with the highlight option, but it would be very time consuming. Adding code in the px page would also be time consuming as well. But, I could do it all in the source page and be done with it. Thanks Digo.

I have seen this on some really really nice thermo-graphic floorplans. I know it can be done, unfortunately the guy who made them is banned at the moment.

Hahaha, how does one go about getting banned from a forum. Go to your room, and no supper.

have you tried spectrum binding?
These discussions apply to R2, but I think this works similarly in AX.

I think I have mis-communicated or I am just missing your point Digo. I am trying to add a text bubble/box/window to display vav label/location on mouseover of space temp on floor plan.

I thought you were inquiring about the thermo-graphics Freddy mentioned.
The highlight method is the only way I'm aware of. Pop ups won't cut it because they show up in a separate window (although you can specify the size of the window) and require a click, not a mouse over. (I think)
It should be easy to duplicate labels many times over, then do a mass edit of the label ords via search and replace in text editor view. y/n?
Can you tell I'm not the one doing the graphics around here? It's nice to have an in-house dedicated graphics guru... and that makes me a bit spoiled
Did you try niagara-central?

Why do you want to display location just on mouse over?
I always add spectrum bindings to floor plans (the room turns colors) with space temp displayed and a hyperlink that takes them to whatever device, there we add a user defined location for them to enter in which is displayed on the main graphic and editable by them from a settings tab.
