The Correct Way to Calculate Energy Savings
My customer like many is now concerned with energy usage (this is good for me) and has commmissioned me to develop opportunities with the control system to save money.
How do I correctly calculate electrical usage costs on equipment? For example I have four 120 ton rooftops that are 93kw (480 x 195amps). These RTU's control a common space and a lead / lag control sequence is being developed. Can I factor in maintence related cost savings because of less runtime?
Appreciate any ideas..

Get your post count up and apply for Pro status. Alot more help will be given I would imagine if you are listed as pro. Plus a whole lot of great info in the Pro Forums.
We only want to do it, if we can do it right.
