I don't know, but I'm sure if he told his mother he did I would be hearing about it none stop ... I'll find out. Thanks for your concern ...

Heat wave here, 4 degrees when I left the house. Would feel nice to you guys with the -20 wind chills. Be careful.

I wish the wind chills were only -20, but the air temp was -31 this mornig up here and it has came to a balmy -9 for our high, wids blowing from 5 to 15 mph. They are predicting colder tonight. Can't wait 'til this moves out of here. It is only supposed to get this cold in Alaska and Canada.

Well, I did have to go on a roof today. Started downtown, 44 stories up replacing a series 60 circulator. Nice & warm. Then out to a shop by O' Hare to reset two BVSS's on unit heaters (don't run the exh fan & htr together). Then the call came in. All the way out to Joliet to check a RTU. Manual OA damper was 50% open and one electric heat strip was bad. At -14 and -35 windchill, I closed the damper and said we'll be back.

Nice to have the Carhartts and the Veto Pro Pac was great but, that only goes so far. Man, it was cold!

    Doubt it. Slacker.
Perhaps you should have read the instructions before calling.

**** yeah otto it was cold. I got lucky in the morning, had some inside work. My second call was server room A/C was down, so i had to fix A/C on the coldest day of the year in chicago. It was nasty on the roof for the few hours I was up there. next week its going to be in the 20's and 30's , its going to be like a heat wave!
