    Nitrogen flow regulator

What are you guys using for a regulator for nitrogen brazing? I need a new regulator and there is one out there that has settings for purge braze and pressure test. Just looked it up western enterprises vn500 or vn250

I use a cap tube with a service port on both ends, encased in a 3/4" pipe.

That's ghetto, but if ghetto works I don't care.

They made them (vn500 or vn250) easy to use.
    I recommend as well.

C'mon man, you know what I mean.

I could chuck mine off a roof and it'll still work. If it did break, it's field repairable.

I have a guy that works with me that can destroy anything with his "normal" handling. I don't care what it is, I'd give it to him for a week and if he could still find it on his van after a week I guarantee it would be destroyed.

Oh yeah? Well he's not allowed to use my tools. So there.

Mine either, all his tools are ghetto or broken. It's comical to see him "work" with what he has.

I been using this for a few weeks, and it's been working pretty good. Great alternative since I didn't have the Penny's to get one of the 500's.

I use that too. It works for me. I also have a turbo torch flow meter. I find that if the float ball is floating "at all" there is too much flow. I think that those are made and calibrated to regulate the flow of inert gas for mig/tig welding. I find them useless for what we do.

That looks useful, especially the hand threading. I coulda bought that for the same price as my uniweld regulator and flow gauge. Do the presets work as desired?
