A coworker told me about this site.
He is no longer a co-worker, but I'll bet he's still here.

I joined May of 2000.
It has been so long ago, that I am not sure I remember correctly.
I was either googling HEAT LOAD SOFTWARE, or HVAC, for information.
In either case, I'm glad I did...

I was picking up some parts one day at the supply house. One of the counter guys said hey check this out. It was a pic of a window unit, in an attic, sitting in a blue kiddie pool. The window unit had some flex duct attached to it. lol, I couldn't believe the rest of the world had such creative people.........

Google
Awhile back, I mostly serviced A/C. I took on a job to replace a burned out compressor to a WIF. I knew what a CPR was for but did not know how to set it properly. So I googled the question and this site came up. What a difference it has made for my career. Great people and great info......can't beat it.

I was googleing something and the wall of shame came up. After I got done laughing at the way someone made a tap on the side of a flex duct by cutting all the little slits out of the liner I checked out the rest of the site and here I am today. My wife thinks I spend too much time here.
