Since I found this site, it has been my 'internet home'.
My dad always tells me how lucky we are to have something like this to share our experience since a lot of what he knows he had to figure out on his own. But it's more than just info, it's the stories too.

Back in 2003, I was in Houston. It was around 102F. Some old Mexican guy at a Autozone was trying to buy some R12 for his 88 Cheby. A car full of children. I topped off his system with R-22. It cooled, not really cold. Then I googled hvac forums when I got home. Got H-Talk and got blasted here. I got to know a lot of the guys over the years. I met a lot of them at the convention last August. You know, we are all alike.

Don't recall exactly...I think from googling for supplier info. Hooked up and now I am hooked to the site. My wife tells me I am geeking out when I am on this site for any length of time..."can't you leave work at work!?!" Nah...enjoy the interaction!!
