Blu-ray
Is Blu-ray really better than dvd??
I dont always drink beer, but when I do I prefer Dos-Equis. I am the most interesting man in the world. Stay thirsty my friends.

I watched a blue-ray movie the other day. Transformers, blue ray with a HD projector on a 6ft screen. I really could not see a difference.

I use my PS3 hooked to a Sumsung HDTV using an HDMI cable and it blows away standard DVD.

Blue Ray is better that DVD, only problem is our eyesight is not that good.

Blue Ray is the way to go but with the right setup,1080p HD t.v,and hdmi cables.Really makes a differance.

Yes it is but you must have a 1080p tv to enjoy it fully. I have close to 70 Blu-rays(Best Buy had Band of Brothers a couple of weeks back for 37 bucks if I remember right).

be aware that
the original "content" may not be of the highest quality, however it has been burned onto a BluRay & sold at the **higher** price.
Case in point, "A Christmas Story", ( the red ryder bb gun), looks no better on blu-ray that it does on a regular dvd. Spiderman 3, has the quality and it shows on a Blu-Ray playback.
