Terminator 4: Salvation
Christian Bale (Batman Begins, The Dark Knight) stars as John Connor. I was not aware they were making another Terminator. No Arnold in this one. I don't think they will ever top T2.

Sequels are seldom as good as the first movies. T2 was an exception...a MAJOR exception since T1 was great. T3 was acceptable but not quite up to the task that T2 exhibited.
Trailer looks good, though. Of course, they always do.No reserve. No retreat. No regrets.
For those who have fought for it, freedom has a sweetness the protected will never know.

Hope it's better than T3. What a bust! I mean, it got a ten for gratuitous destruction of private property, but did nothing to add to the technological fun in T1 or T2.
It (T3)was an obvious departure from Mr. Cameron's direction, which if you knew how he hates God, might become a welcome change.
Meaning this--for years I have regarded the first two Terminators as IMHO some of the best if not the best sci-fi movies. Then I learned how Mr. Cameron is a God-hater. Ever since then, every line in those two movies, most of which I had unconsciously memorized, has been turned on its humanist head.
Where I saw potential of the sci-fi sort, I now see humanism.

Hmm. Didn't know that. I'll have to pay attention to it next time I watch.
Thing is, I know of just a couple of sci-fi writers who are not "atheists".No reserve. No retreat. No regrets.

Yeesh, I hope I didn't put a bullet in the thread, although it makes one wonder what kind of salvation they'll be peddling.
I just saw how Ed Furlong, the boy who was John Connor in T2 was on a slideshow of "where are they(child actors) now?"
Wow, how time flies. It seems like just the other day.
Remember when the Connor and Ahnold were about to enter the psych hospital where Sarah was being held?
"Promise me you won't kill anyone. Look, say it after me. I swear I will not kill anyone."
I swe-ah I will not kill anyone.

Thanks. Still takes as along to load and has to buffer.
Did anyone notice at the beginning that the MPA has approved this PREVIEW for ALL AUDIENCES.
Don't mind the over sized guns shooting at people and robots, sorry, cyborg. Crushing of skulls and the gauntlet of explosions. I wonder if they will rate this movie PG.
