I think it was the flashlight with a clip. A guy gave those out at work.
It was a nice flashlight. Never used it much for non contact.

But i would like to know what he had fail on his.
I wish people at school followed this, maybe they rethink that fluke is the one and only meter you need.

I started talking about manometer and psychometers with them, they all look at me like "what? You need that"

Yep, fluke doesnt do everything all in one.
They honesty believed it did..and this people, our all older then me, im 19..and know that there no way you can get a meter that does everything all in one...they honestly thought it did...

    A fieldpiece lt17a is what, about $150?

    A fluke 116 is what, about $180?

Granted the fieldpiece comes with the amp clamp atrachment, but still, its not like fieldpiece is that much less expensive.

    I can attest to that...

While I use an SC77 daily... I use Fluke leads... just worth it!

I believe the 87 is still made in the U.S.A. as well

So many out there they are cheap used. Older versions are a steal and you can pound nails with them if you need a hammer

    +1

My fluke 116 gets over a year on its battery.

My fieldpiece sc240 needs a battery once every couple months.

    Fluke has plenty of recalls.

    .gov site can be searched.

    Big companies do this

Got both Fp and fluke. I prefer my fluke. Fluke temperature feature seems to be off 5-10 degrees on just about every multimeter I have ran across . Do like the fact you can calibrate the fieldpiece. Although I don't use the temperature on my meter much, it should be more accurate.

When i got my sc55 i check the temp using the ice water method, it was holding between 32-32.5 without calibration. Now i could bring it down to a constant 32 but didnt wanna take the chance. Fieldpiece manual says u can calibrate it to atleast +\- 1 degree.
