    Question Inspection Camera

Anyone got one of the inspection cameras? They look sweet, just the thing for inspecting heat exchangers, it would seem. The Ridgid specs look fabulous. Home Depot had a Milwaukee display but the camera wasn't there to play with the day I went by. It was priced @ about $275.

We just bought one of the Rigid's (actually it's reb's christmas pres.!) and then I happened to notice a guy in the 'junk yard' forum trying to offload a couple--said they were new in box. I haven't looked in the last week, maybe he still has. And he had a good $$ on it!

I use the Testo one. I have no complaints with it. I dont remember how much it was I bought it at Johnstone. It has found many bad heat exchangers the best part is that you can easily show the customer what is wrong.

Our company requires all techs to have one. there are many ones that are in the market but the best one hands down is the Testo.

Just bought testo 3" display? - was just under $275 @Johnstone - was using testo eyescope style until optic cable pulled out of housing. Sent it back under warranty - if they give me new one - I'd sell it reasonably - I got it (free?) with Testo CO tester kit.

I use a Testo. Sometimes it is great, sometimes it just frustrates me, but I went without it for a few days and I really missed it.
Anything I say here is only my opinion. Even if you understood what I said.... What I said may not even be what I meant.
