    Keep an eye on Russia

They are discussing joining forces with OPEC in an effort to drive oil prices back up. Their economy depends upon high price crude and they are doing exactly what they did right before they collapsed last time....buying up American dollars, gold and diamonds. Are they on the verge of another collapse? If they are I speculate they will have to do something to drive the cost of oil back up.

they don't have to do anything. just in my neighborhood, all the people who had parked their big trucks and suv's, have dug them out of storage and started driving them all they can. we will raise prices on our own due to ignorance.

Oh and I do. And China, Iran, Venzuela, Mexico, Israel, and..............

So I guess the meeting with opec was productive, they all agreed to cut back on production to drive costs back up again.

Here's a potential solution - use less oil.

And, oil or no-oil the Russian Bear needs to be 'contained'.

Drive them prices back up by causing more instability.
