    What is the Best Refrigerant Leak Detector?

    Hi Folks,

    I have a project coming up that has 1750 refrigerant connections.

    I will pressure test each system to 700 PSI but I want to have thee best electronic leak detection on the market.

    Which is the best?

    H-10 hands down.

    I have used both,the h10 & d tek,i prefer the d tek.

    TIF zx is a good one, its whats replacing the H10 at all these supermarket refrigeration companies.
    I will take a bullet for my Veto LC tool bag!

    Oh yeah, Tiff has a great rep in the field. About the same as UEI instruments. LOL

    I was told at the supply house to buy the Field peice,they said the guys love it never owned any thing by them. Its the same technology as the d tek. it is as good as d tek if not better. I also had the zx and liked it untill at fell off a ladder

    I can't say which is the best , but what has worked well for me is the d-tek select and the H10 stay away from the tpi

    But again zx is old tech new gas= new tech
