Apprenticeship Interview Questions
I have an interview next week with the UA JATC board.
What types of questions do they typically ask during the interview?
Thanks.

Hard to say exactly... your hall may ask different questions.
If they ask you if you're willing to do any facet of plumbing and pipefitting say YES. Don't expect to just do HVAC service
Also, they may ask you about travel after you become a jman. say YES
Tell them that you won't even bother seeking non-union employment unless you don't get in this time. Then tell them that you'll try next time too.
Remember, competition for a union contractor is a non-union contractor.
Tell them you also think that apprenticeship training is second to none.
That's all I have right now... good luck

I would have to say this is a true and false statement... Some do some dont, simple as that...
As far as questions go, just answer the questions with that you think they would want to hear. Long term, going to continue to apply to become union and so on. And like someone already mentioned, they are willing to do every aspect of HVAC including pipe fitting and what not.
Good Luck.
