Bryant 80v "PerfectHeat" fan setting

We recently had a Bryant 80v (315AAV048090) furnace installed.

For the PerfectHeat feature to operate best, should the fan setting be left to "Auto" or to "On" to keep temperatures even through the house?

We have a Bryant "Preferred Programmable" (T6PRH) thermostat.

That depends on the house, the duct work, your lifestyle, etc...

If your last furnace wasn't 2 stage it probably doesn't matter - this is likely to be much more comfortable either way. Run the fan if you have a media filter and want constant air cleaning.

Why didn't you get a high efficiency furnace?

Try it both ways, and see which way feels better to you.

This unit replaced a single stage, so we're sorting out how best to set the programming. Have to say that our humidifier has never worked better (this is an arid area).

Didn't get a high efficiency unit because our basement is finished. The contractor said there would be a good bit of "demolition" involved to install the additional venting required for a 90+ unit, and the venting would be unpleasant near our deck. Too bad the industry can't reuse existing ventilation, I'd have preferred a high efficiency unit.

It should make your house more comfortable then the old unit did, with the fan set to auto.

Some homes have an room or 2, that lose heat a little faster then the rest of the house.
The furnaces board has no way to know this.
And in those situations, the blower runing 24/7 makes the home feel better.

A little testing by you, will tell you your best set up.

If you're going the Infinity route, you really want the Infinity control...there's also rebates from Carrier (up to $1200) on the Infinity system. Carrier "Cool Cash" rebate---my brother got it last month.

u r right. Let me rephrase that. What feature/benefit will they get from the infinity stat that they don't have with the 350 (I mean t6prh)?

This is futile I said Infinity stat when I meant Evolution...stat........same same..

and you are using Bryant furnace #'s......350 is the Legacy Line. Straight 90's no frills, POS...........

The man bought a Bryant #315, 2 speed Evolution Series, couple that with a 15 plus seer H/P...and an EVOLUTION CONTROL...he could probably get at least a $650 rebate from Bryant and a $400 tax credit,from uncle Sam

. Not to mention a more comfortable house from the Variable,on board self diagnostic, and too may variables to list, without leaving the water heater orphaned .......or should we just rip the customer for another 3 G's for a direct vent W/H................

Think about it we are not spending your money, we're spending the customers money, put yourself in their shoes...........Give them the best job you can for the right price.............

I got a #315 and a #265 with an Evolution stat in my house, why would I ever sell someone something I wouldn't buy.................get it.....
