Cond/Mod Boiler air intake condensation problems?

Has anyone ever had problems with the condensation from the intake getting the air pump wet and shorting it out?

I have a Weil-Mclain Ultra 105 boiler and it seems like a design flaw having the intake flow right into the boiler to get all the compents wet?

Why do they do this? Has anyone experienced any problems?

Thanks for all the help this forum has provided me. <My installer hadn't ever done an Ultra boiler before mine. me=guinea pig

Sorry, I read something about that late last night in another forum.

It makes sense to me, I looked inside the cover of the Ultra and the intake is directly above the air pump and its electrical connections!

Cold combustion air does not condensate on warm objects.

If an Ultra is getting condensate from the combustion air, then you will find the exhaust termination is not not installed properly.
