    You don't need caps?!!

[IMG][/IMG]I work in a facility as a maintenance tech. They put me in charge of HVAC so I have learned a few things from the licensed guys there and an outside companies owner who is a AC guru. (you know you are Chris) Well a couple months ago they got rid of the guru and hired a big, well established company. The put a new compressor in a P.O.S water chilled unit. # weeks after we had them in to run new control wires for are hot water pumps for office heat. The payroll lady was complaining about it being hot so I looked at the ac and first I found no caps on the valves, Second thing I noticed was the sight glass leaking. I got the guy who helped installed it and he said quote" You dont need caps." Then I pointed out the sight glass and he said he would put his gages on it and check the pressures. WTF I'm barely educated on this and I dont mess up like that.

You been following me around with a camera???

I have been collecting caps from every piece of equipment that I work on for the last 10 years.

New compressor and didn't change the drier? Date code is from 05, must have figured it was new enough. This is why I never run out of work.

If you swept up all that dust, you might not even see that leak!!

You don't need no stinking caps.

Is that drier pointed in the right direction?
