    What is the starting salary for residential and what is the max? Or should i decide to go commercial? Which one has a better job outlook?

    Commercial/Industrial you will make more money, better benefits, better job stability.

    Yup! I do almost 100% supermarket work and while things are a bit slow right now, in still pulling 40 plus every week.

    Here most of the service guys are under the same contract as us. Journeyman scale is just under $35/hr. here....with potential to make even more depending on how good you are

    Commercial/Industrial has a better stability IMO.

    If I get my diploma for residentail hvac can i still get into commercial work? I have been thinking about joining Minneapolis smw local 10. They work with both residentail and commercial.
