    Honeywell Zone Manager Sux

Ok now that I have your attention.(there probably is some truth in the title due to the fact that a new xl50 would make it obsolete but its what I am stuck with) anyhow I have a zone manager that has lost its program in the big blow storm we had a while back (power was out for 2 weeks) and of course the battery was dead. I am not experienced with downloading these through care, I have all of the current files and all of the necassary software ie care 7 and e-vision. I have downloaded some info for the zone manager and it says that I can download the zm through live care. I spoke with a hw rep today and was told to follow the directions for downloading the zm to the "T" because it is tricky.

    Is it tricky?

Can someone please give me a play by play for getting this back up and running, I would kinda feel a little more comfortable getting info from someone who has actually done this than I would by showing up with my pc and a booklet. Thanks

Thanks worked like a charm. Only one thing to note to anyone else who may read this. Evision looks for the zone manager files in the care root directory so you have to copy them there after the zone manager translation otherwise you will get an error when evision tries to update the files. There may be a way to change the config to look elswhere for the files but for now this ewas easier to do and I am not sure that I will have to repeat this process to many times. Any way thanks again for all of your help.
