Kogelo villagers slaughtered a boar to give thanks for Obama's presidential win

In true African style, Kogelo villagers slaughtered a boar to give thanks for Obama's presidential win.

Wow, I wonder if it's just the prodigal son 'Barry' or if they'd have been this happy with any non-white President?
    Somehow I don't think so.
And, somehow I don't think this kind of report is going to thrill 'Barry' African-American trying to be like all the 'typical' whatever Americans.

....Many Africans believe an Obama presidency will help the impoverished continent. His victory is likely to seal America's reputation in the minds of many Africans as a land of opportunity.

    Maybe they're thinking about this:

Well at least they didn't martyr a missionary in the celebration feast.

No one rememebrs it because of 911 over shadows everything in Bush's first few months, but you can google it. One of the first thing Bush ever did as President was issue an executive order to end all aid to African medical clinincs if abortions were performed there. This in a nod to the pro life people. You can argue all you want about abortions and right or wrong, but these clinics did alot of good and they were the only places for a lot of women to go to, some rape victims or just poor women with general health needs. It was an extremely cold hearted thing to do, all for nothing more than a cowardly thank you nod to the prolife people who helped him get elected. He could have done something prolife in this country, but he instead picked on poor Africans thousands of miles away all for a headline that he was doing his prolife duty. Thats the day I knew he was a gutless coward and nothign like his Mom and Dad who I think are really good people. I actually voted for Bush senior

Explain one time for me why we should be funding abortions in Africa? I thought we had monetary problems in this country. Why not France, or Russia or some other utopian socialist country with money to burn? Maybe I was absent that day. America is such a horrible place, it's a wonder they'd accept our money anyway.......

The funding was for womens health clinics that really didn't even have to perform abortions, they could simply talk about them, or be part fo a larger organization who used money to lobby foreign governments to allow them. The thing for me is it's not so much about abortions as it is about making political hey at the cost of poor people thousands of miles away. Its sort of cowardly to say "hey guys I'm really pro life, see I just left all those african women twisting in the wind, because some of them were talking about abrotions." Thanks for your votes consider us even!"

Well, that actually took more than just one simple google, next time maybe you could just provide your link.

What exactly did this have to do with the Kenyan's slaughtering a pig in Obama's honor? Was it a family planning bovine?

The point was this. Africa will be and is WAY HAPPY about their native son. For reasons I'm sure the Trinity Church could help anyone with that doesn't understand fairly plain language.
