the learning curve!
when I first quoted an actuator and valve about a year ago, I quoted just that. about 10 questions later from the parts guy and my boss, and 10 trips back to the jobsite this is what I learned.
1st trip: are there couples to isolate, or do we cut and weld?
2nd trip: how do we bleed the water, is there cut off valves?
3rd trip: is the valve a direct replacement?
4th trip: what size insulation are we going to use?
5th trip: what is the spring range?
6th trip: is it reverse acting or direct acting?
7th trip: how easy is it to replace?
learing something new sure can make me feel like an idiot, glad the customer was nice. good news is i'm getting better and better and learning it all. sure can't wait to be 50 and know everything.
NEW TO THE BOARD, THOUGHT I WOULD SHARE.....
