I don't mind that show, but the thing that drives me nuts is his "need" to smack, slurp and be an obnoxious eater, and talk with his mouth full. God that drives me nuts."If you call that hard work, a koala’s life would look heroic."

I had a real life test of bizarre foods. Last fall my friend Mark Matteson was asked to keynote a conference in Istanbul. He recommended me to speak on branding. Thanks again, Mark.
Okay, so let me toss this out. What do you think of when you think of Istanbul food?
Me? I had no idea.
Surprisingly, it was fabulous! The first night we were there, the conference host took us to a traditional restaurant and we got to try everything. It was all great.
I'm sure I would have rejected some of it out of hand if I would have known what I was eating in advance.
Think about it. If you knew nothing about one and encountered a raw oyster for the first time, would you try one? If not, you would miss one of nature's great delicacies (especially if the oysters came from Apalachicola Bay).
Be adventurous!Matt Michel
