My wife and I ate bugs from some vendor off the street in Bangkok of course we had a couple carlsbergs by then!! Of course there is always the taco stands in Mexico...."Urban Deer"

I don't mind that show, but the thing that drives me nuts is his "need" to smack, slurp and be an obnoxious eater, and talk with his mouth full. God that drives me nuts.

I like Bizarre Foods,but Andrew Zimmern is disgusting.Just because its here on Earth doesnt mean you should eat it.He s headed for a Steve Irwin(Lord I apologize)

I had a real life test of bizarre foods. Last fall my friend Mark Matteson was asked to keynote a conference in Istanbul. He recommended me to speak on branding. Thanks again, Mark.

Okay, so let me toss this out. What do you think of when you think of Istanbul food?

Me? I had no idea.

Surprisingly, it was fabulous! The first night we were there, the conference host took us to a traditional restaurant and we got to try everything. It was all great.

I'm sure I would have rejected some of it out of hand if I would have known what I was eating in advance.

Think about it. If you knew nothing about one and encountered a raw oyster for the first time, would you try one? If not, you would miss one of nature's great delicacies (especially if the oysters came from Apalachicola Bay).

I've found this to be true as well. I try everything, but I still do not like snails.
