Not using nitrogen on a R410A system will have no more effect then on an R22 system.

What problem are you having that makes you think it wasn't installed correctly?

I like going to Lennox and ordering a jug of Puron, it gets them everytime.

You know it's just wrong when....

You walk up to a 410 unit for a call and it has "R-410A ONLY!!!!!" written on the access panel in fat black marker... and they wondered why it did not work right since the day it was installed - 4 of the same unit at the place, must have been the one they put in first...

    410-a

R410-A is a chemical make up. Puron, Environ, and the pink jug all have the same chemical #. Try to put the pink jug in trane, carrier, or lennox units and set up by sub cooling and all will operate normaly. My company is adealer of all three manufactures. I have charged all three with the PINK jug andall have given me 16 to18 degree temp drop. Our installers have also screwed up and mis matched 410-A with 22 it is a royal pain to try and clean up due to the fact oil stays in evap coil. Recomend seriuos nitro purge along with dryers and multiple changing of them. I'm still waiting for a comp failure. It's going to be a long learning process for all field techs when this happens to any one.
