I like it. The metal looks good.
- new A/C outside?
- easier way to use a normal size filter?

What brand of coil are you using? I see the homeowners have a generac emergency generator.
Looks very nice.
looks great! Its nice to see someone installing real gas pipe and not the flex crap. Sheet metal looks great as well!
metal looks real good. especially where the lineset enters. why did you go with the uncased coil? JW.
Gas line could have been closer, wrong cover on 1900 box.
Clean work
Be safe not fast. body parts don't grow back
Nice job.
Only thing I would of done is moved the gas line closer to the furnace.
A couple of things,
-Why not 90% furnace?
-Didn't run intake to bring in fresh air?
Looks good, but does the furnace sit directly on the floor? And the return filter elbow has a radius heel, but why not the throat? Otherwise, it looks like a quality install.
Looks good !!! But why not use cased coil ? You know one day somebody's gonna have to clean that thing.
Should have elevated the furnace off of the floor. You could have moved the gas line closer.
You would elevate it so the metal bottom of the cabinet won't come in direct contact with the concrete floor. The concrete will allow moisture to wick through and reach the furnace cabinet. When moisture comes in contact with metal, corrosion is the result. Also, if you didn't provide additional sealing around the bottom panel, moisture can be drawn into the unit.
That is a good looking installation. The sheet metal ductwork is nice, the entire look is clean with nice lines.
I guess your codes are different than my neck of the woods:
Here in GA, there must be a pan under it; and you must use B vent all the way.
If it were me, I would have modified the ductwork to use a standard sized filter and had a cover on the filter holder. Just my approach.
However: The install looks clean and nice. Good work.
