What holds the A coil in place ??

I bought a roll of metal duct tape and started taping all the duct joints. I taped around the area where the a-coil is too.

What holds that A-Coil in there??

Also how would you ever know IF the drain got plugged and does it happen often ???

    Thx

    ummmm magic

    yup thats it. magic screws.

and if the drain backs up, you'll know once its too late.

and it happens quite frequently if your not on a service contract. If you are on a contract, your chances are slimmer but still likely.

If you don't know, then don't do. If you don't know and still do, then be prepared to pay someone else a lot to undo what you did and then do it right.

If you do know, then do. But do it right. Otherwise, you may not be doing it long.

IF the drain got plugged, you'll have a wet floor. Yes, it happens often if you don't get it checked/cleaned each spring.

Duct tape is good. Fix's most anything. Noisy wife... tape mouth. Leaky kids,, tape butt. Leaky duct work... tape leaks..... so on and so forth.

Lets not forget the majic smoke in the control board... if you let that out, it will never work again

So..... does the acoil just slide in there on a sheetmetal flange and the metal tape holds it in there ??

How would they check the drain without removing the acoil ?? I see water running from mine when its going so it must not be plugged >>>

It seems IF it plugged up it would run into the heat exchanger area ???

Where would you chesk it from time to time to see if its plugged ??
