TAC
One of my customers tried to buy a TAC controller
and was told the controllers are exclusive to branches/dealers.
Anyone know where he can buy a TAC controller?
He is located in Illinois.

First option: ask TAC who his local partner is and get a phone number
Second option: Ebay
NOTE: Option 2 carries risks same as all Ebay transactions
Third option: I work for a TAC partner in Wisconsin, email in my profile if you can't get any
satisfaction any other way.
Good luck!

The customer is in for a rude awakening when he finds out it is empty and he can't program it!

That is partially true - have you checked the engenuity website? They sell some of TAC controllers.
What product line is he after?
Tell him to call his nearest local dealer first and if he can't get satisfaction from that he should be able to call corporate and get an answer there. We only rep the Vista and INET lines.

Aren't most of them somewhat kind of open?
I looks like Distech and Circon are the most open, but I still run into some kind of road block with everyone it seems like. I even ran into problems with an iLon 100 cause I didn't have the original installation CD that came with the device. Anyway...not to beat a dead horse.
