Help to Determine SEER Rating
I have been quoted two BRYANT systems and not sure how to determine the SEER rating for a system. The two systems are:
SG91BM14/48/100MBTU
Furnace: 350MAV048100
Condensing Unit: 114ANA048
Evaporator Coil: CNPHP4821ATA
SG81MB14/48A/90MBTU
Furnace: 310AAV048090
Condensing Unit: 114ANA048
Evaporator Coil: CNPHP4821ATA
If this changes by 1/2 ton after they do a load calculation will that change the SEER rating by a significant difference??? Any others comments about this system???
Thanks!!!

Seems like the load calc could/should also better determine which furnace is needed. SEER doesn't apply to furnaces, in case you're wondering, but the furnace could influence the AC's SEER rating if the furnace is a variable-speed model.
Hopefully I remembered that right and didn't gloss over anything. I think it's why you see condensers often rated for "up to" a certain SEER. In other words, 13 SEER or 14 SEER when paired with a VS furnace.

You can look up your model numbers on this site.
Good luck.

Thanks for the input! I think its oversize abit, that's why I confirmed that they would do a load calc if they got the job. The price will come down a few hundred per 1/2 ton, so that will help with the price.

That form is confusing for those not in the industry. I get from 10-100 hits, when I do a search.
Thanks!

I don't find any ratings with that N coil. I know that is not right. I am sure a Bryant guy will be able to answer this soon. good luck
