    Honeywell IAQ and dual fuel

    Hi all,

Wondering about the Honeywell IAQ and adaptive recovery for a dual fuel setup. In this case, heat pump and natural gas. I read on here a while back that if the heat pump is not heating to the recovery temp setting, the IAQ uses a time-based calculation to eventually kick in the backup heat. My question is, does the adaptive intelligent recovery feature take this into account, and will it eventually have the IAQ call for backup heat right away on recovery?

    Thanks,
    Cub

Not if you lock out the furnace above X outdoor temp.

How many times must one fix something before it is fixed?

Or disable the "updstage to furnace" timer. or change of timer set point.

Can you describe this a bit more? I don't quite understand.

I can see what beenthere is saying. If you lockout the furnace, then the t-stat has no choice but to use the heat pump coming from set back, as long as the temp outside is warm enough. I don't see how changing timing or disabling furnace upstage timer will effect this during "adaptive recovery" periods.

In the IAQ advance set up menu, there is a timer that can upstage the gas back up if the system can not recover in X amount of time. (#346)
