    What MERV air filter to use for general replacement use.

    I am about to purchase some 4 inch pleated replacement air filters for a infinity system. Do you recommend a 8 merv replacement filter for general us--no dogs etc. Also are there any brands that are better than others or are they basicly interchangeable? Thanks

    if you have no allergy problems than a merv 8 or 10 will do a good job of keepeing the system good and clean.
