How does the new condenser coil look like?

Hello:

I just got the condenser coil replaced (actually the guy is replacing as I am typing this post) under warranty. It took Carrier about 3 days to deliver it. The guy had removed the faulty (leaking) one before in his last trip a couple of days ago. Today he is installing the supposedly new one.

But when I looked at the "new" condenser coil, it looked wierd. It has wrinkles (for lack of better word) all over. The tiny think ventilation plates that run all around it were not uniformly straight and the top appears to be damaged.

When I told him my suspicion that does it look like brand new, he jumped at me saying that you don't trust me and blah blah.

I am attaching the pictures. Could anyone tell me how is that supposed to look like? Does this look like brand new? He had already removed it from the box, so he says, since it was not fitting in his van. And there is no label on the condenser showing that it is brand new or showing that it is from Carrier and not some generic refurbished condenser. My questions are:

1. Does it look like brand new? (see attachments)
2. Could it be the old one that he got refurbished or something?
3. Could this be a reconditioned that Carrier gave him instead of the brand new one.

Please reply as soon as possible.

Looks new to me, it just looks like he is the Bull in the China closet kind of tech you will have those.

Most of that looks like it was done from handling the coil.
