TWO DAYS AND A WAKE-UP TILL THE EDUCATIONAL FORUMS GO LIVE!!

Look for it to happen at 5 PM Eastern Daylight Time on 5 September 2008!

I'm confident that I speak on behalf of all of the Educational Forum Committee (EFC) in that we are overjoyed we have reached this milepost. The Educational Forums (EF) will not only go live on Friday, it will also continue improving and growing as time goes by. Our work is ongoing to assure the EF becomes and remains a premium online HVAC/R educational reference source.

    See you on September 5!

    HELP

looking for help with a question. I am currently taking an hvac/r class. after reading my 1 of 3 assigned chapters I am slightly confused in reviewing the chapter questions in the book. the chapter in question was on piping & tubing. The question is as follows and is a fill in the blank question. The ------ if it is air cooled ,must be located in an area where proper air supply is available. This is only a 4 page chapter, and I have read it 6 times searching for the answer. if anyone can help please reply a.s.a.p. THANK YOU

A near universal response to the EF during limited "sneak previews" was...

    WOW.

That being said, the EF is not set in stone. It is designed to grow and modify to suit the needs of HVAC-Talk pro members. The EF includes a suggestion box, which will be monitored. Feedback is welcome; it helps us grow the EF to best suit the membership's needs.

As a reminder, you cannot access the EF unless you have professional membership status. If you do not have this status yet, you may experience a bit of a delay if the Membership Committee suddenly becomes swamped with requests after the EF goes live tomorrow and our members begin discussing it in other forums. Please be patient. The Membership Committee participants, along with the Educational Committee members, are working people as yourself, with families and other responsibilities. We do the best we can with the time we have.

Nevertheless, I do not think upon first glance of the EF tomorrow, anyone will be outright disappointed. There is a LOT of material to be seen!

    SWEET!

somebody has to change the insidious lack of technical skill in our trade. Might as well be us.

    Very Good idea, HVAC-talk team!
