    Trailer smoker from???

I would like to designing and building a smoker on wheels and have a catering business on the weekends. What would you recommend building it out of? Old water tanks? Oil tanks? I need some ideas.

I figured I would frame it around a boat trailer?

That's what I made mine from. Used the rear axle, shocks, spings etc., from a rear wheel drive car for the running gear. We use it alot at the school.
If You don't have time to do it right, when will you have the time to do it over?

Check out www.bbqpits.com. Dave Klose is the man when it comes to BBQ Pits on wheels or not. You may be able to get some ideas form his site. He used to have a forum, dont know if he still does but there are some real good people over there. He is also very helpful with questions. He used to give out his cell phone number!
I have owned one for years (not mobile) its the best pit I have ever cooked on.

Thanks, it was an obsession for a while until the Doc made me give up smoked food, and a lot of other stuff. Something about staying alive an all. What does he know.
