    ggod news. The homeowner called me this morning to let me know all was good, the unit hasn't stopped or sparked at the capacitor.
    he said he was happy.

    YO

    SOOOOOOOO THAT CAP WAS NOT PROPERLY SECURED THEY SELLL THOSE CAP MOUNTS RUBBER /PLASTIC RUN ABOUT $3...BUY THEMMMMMM, STOCK THEM ON THE TRUCK AND CHARGE THE CUSTOMERRRRRRRRRR.........ive seen them at ARS

    ok. I dont understand. why would the capacitor not being strapped to the blower assembly make the cap spark?
    it is not touching anything down there and the terminals are covered up.
    Secondly, when I replaced the motor and cap, the cap was strapped to the blower assembly and it was sparking itself.

    appy for pro and you can get a multitude of info

    Go back to basics. It's possible you got a bad motor or cap. It's happened to me before. Have you checked to make sure your ground to the unit is complete?
