ventilation for irradiator system
at a bigtme loss on this one???
customer has 2 irradiators that require air flow to cool each unit
Spec show air flow pressure drop per unit of 9.5" WC based on 350 CFM per unit of exhaust flow.
tested w existing fan exhaust only could get 5.6" wc pressure drop with 6" round duct into 8" main. on one unit
total duct pressure drop is only .8" wc
we tested free air exhaust of 454 cfm before connection and a inlet flow into irradiator of 142cfm after connection. and they want 30% less supply than exhaust???
we need to add a filterd supply air for a push pull system inorder to get proper flow. they call for 240 cfm supply air based on 9.9" pressure loss per unit?

An astronaut stuck in space was asked by a reporter, "How do you feel?"
"How would you feel," the astronaut replied, "if you were stuck here, on top of 20,000 parts each one supplied by the lowest bidder?"
