That was a good one, shock for about 20 seconds. Luckily it was only side to side not up and down. So far no damage all is good
Benncool, that was a good one.
To bad we didn`t have one when you were here.You could of told everyone in vermont how you servived the BIG ONE.
it was crazy.....i was on a roof doing start uo on two votagers....boy for about 30 seconds....floor kept moving on me.........not sure if to remove the jumpers from the LBTtest mode or go the disconnect and run the out.
gruntly;
you got me...it was during one of the 27 aftershocks...
I can handle the threat of tornados, hail, torrential rainfall, and hurricane force microbursts during thunderstorms, but if the ground moves, I'm outa there!
I was listening to Jim Rome. He was talking to some manager or pitcher or something, and he interrupted the talk to say "Wow that was a jolt!"
He went on to say that that was the strongtest since the northridge.
Then he got tons of texts saying "Congrats, you beat the network news by 5 minutes!"
And he said (approximately) "Just for the record, I didn't crawl under the desk. I'm 43, I have seen a lot of earthquakes, and that was strong. But I'm not a wuss."
Something to that effect.
I know I need to stay on top of it more. I have alot of reading to do when I get home...tons of Trane lit. to read and understand. I will try to increase my post and become a professional member. Later...

Ya, their no big thing. They just shake for a few seconds ,then it`s all over.
You just have to watch where you walk outside so you don`t fall into a big crack in the ground.
You got a point about tragedy season cause when July rolls around I get a sick feeling in my gut. Galveston is long over due for "the big one". They really scare the crap out me but I'll deal with them rather then deal with earthquakes.
I'm not tolerating Political Correctness anymore, from now on it's tell it like it is.
