    Thermostat Replacement

Would it be wise to replace my 1999 Maple Chase 9600 with a newer thermostat? Using a carrier split with gas furnance from Consolidated Ind model MBA060NH3R.

Why do you want to change your thermostat?
Beware of advice given by some guy on the Internet.

Maple Chase isn't a bad thermostat I also ask why do you think you should replace it. 90% of the time a homeowner thinks something is wrong with the thermostat there really isn't and the system really requires some servicing.

Your stat may not be causing the problem, if you even have a problem. BUT I RECOMMEND CHANGING ANY MAPLE CHASE THERMOSTAT
