I just help a buddy build a gaming computer for world of warcraft . Yup , we have friends all over the world we chat with while gaming , One of the most interesting is a family from the swiss alps . Guess I can call myself a long time gamer as well. Been building my own comps for 10 years now.

I spend some time in Eve Online, Star Wars Galaxies also play Crysis, Command & Conquer: Tiberium Wars and a few others. And I even keep an older system around to play older games that I still like to play at times Like Wing Commander 3, 4 and Prophacy, and Privateer 2.

You running that yourself or using something like Blademan? I haven't raced in NR2003 for a while.

We rent a server from gsxn ( biggest nascar server around ) But theirs a new game coming out the Big Nascar ( Rousch boys ) are running and it will prolly be replace this game . All the Big guns like dale jr are in it so it should be real popular just like nr2003 was at one time . Should be a big boast to online racing once it get the nascar rights to the game . heres or link . http://www.nobullracin.net/

    Long time tombraider fan

I have been playing tombraider since I was 11. The tombraider series is my favorite but I will play most RPG games.

Heard that the new tombraider underworld will be out on ps3 but not ps2. Oh well, guess I was going to have to cough up the $400 some time, Right?

But then again that is the price that you pay for being a big fan, Just a list of the tombraiders that I own below

    Tombraider (PC)
    Tombraider gold (PC)
    Tombraider 2 (PC, PS1)
    Tombraider 3 (PS1)
    Tombraider chronicles (PS1)
    Tombraider Last revelation (SEGA Dreamcast)
    Tombraider Angel Of Darkness (PS2)
    Tombraider Legend (PS2)
    Tombraider Anniversary (PS2)
    Tombraider for gameboy
Plan to get the underground when it comes out.

So as you can see I am a little nutz when it comes to tombraider.

As for wether I prefer PC or console, I prefer to play it on a console. That way you are guaranteed that the game will play smooth and have no issuse with the OS.

Man, the "old school gamer" thing made me laugh, damn newbs!

Lets see, I started gaming when Dungeons and Dragons came in a plastic zip lock bag, then dropped it for Traveler. Played a number of paper and dice RPGS over the years, settled on the GURPS system, but haven't played those in a few years.
Did some wargames during that time, but they kinda died off with all the game shops. Computer games and the internet killed off that small industry.

Started off in computer games with a turn based mainframe game where you had to mail in your turn. Did a couple of text MUDs, dabbled in Ultima Online, then Meridian 59. Played Tanarus, 3d arena tank combat game that was a development step to the game engine for EverQuest, then was one of the first 100 beta testers for EverQuest.
Played EQ for 6 years, with side ventures into Anarchy Online and Dark Age of Camelot.
Stuck with DAOC for a couple of years, then rejoined my guild in World of Warcraft, which I played up until a couple of months ago.

Never had much interest in first person shooters or console games.

Old School RPG's. The funny thing is that there are still people out there playing D&D. Ever play Swords and Serpants for the Nes?

Not only do people still play D&D, new stuff still comes out for it...

I liked GURPS, could literally make any type of character for any genre in any type of game world. It didn't have lazy mode modules for the unimaginative and/or lazy like D&D though.

The last console game I owned was a Sega Genesis in 1989, lol.

What's the definition of a Gamer? Is it someone who plays video games or someone who plays only the video games where you are linked to another player?

I love games like The Sims, Restaurant Empire, Zoo Tycoon, Rollercoaster Tycoon..... I recently picked up CSI Miami as well. It's good, but I just keep getting frustrated. You'd be amazed how many cheap games you can pick up at a store like Big Lots for $4-6 because they've been out for a while. I grab whatever looks somewhat interesting. Didn't waste too much money if I decide I don't like it.

Started with Quake 1 and went from there. Keep in mind that was the start of my ONLINE gaming. I started in fps' where most people prolly did. (wolfenstein, doom etc.)

Right now I play World of warcraft, COD4 and I've been getting back into Age of empires 3, empire earth. I don't have a lot of time anymore tho so usually just been jumping on wow for an hour or less and screwing around.
