    One ton ducted heat pump

I am Quoting a heat pump for a second floor addition that is 500 square feet with 4 separate rooms. I need to find a system that can be ducted that is between 9000 and 12000 btu's. I have seen the fujitsu concealed unit and it looks like I could put a return and supply on it but the website does not have the install instructions. Has anyone on here ever done this. Any constructive advice would be appreciated.

If you are going with duct work, both Goodman and York have 1.5 ton systems.

Another option is to get a mini-split system with multiple indoor units on one outdoor unit, for example, this Fujitsu.

I have experience with none of these.

I have used the Fujitsu ductless units before and really like them. I have talked to the contractor and we both agree that they would not be ideal in this application. I see that York has a one ton condenser but no one ton air handler. Any more ideas?

The York AHP 2 ton blower can be set for a 1 ton condenser no problem.
But, the York 1 ton condenser is just that, an A/C condenser, not a HP.

    Dankin has ducted units.

That might work for this if it had a remote condenser. Thank you for the reply
