    Fiberglass Ext ladders

    anyone have an issue with thier ladders that sit on top of there vans all the time. Mine is about 4 years old and every time I use it I get fiberglass all over my arms, just drives me nuts!!!!!!!!

    mine is probably 15 yrs old or more, just handle it by the rungs....

    thanks, I coat it with a clear coat or buy another!

    Yeah, hit 'em with some clear coat once a year or so and they'll keep you from itching. I keep a 4 foot step, a six' step, a 10' step, a 20'ext, and a 36' monster ext on my truck and the clear coat works wonders. All are fiber except the 36 footer. (I also have one of those Werner multi-ladders that I use for getting into cust attics. I don't trust those fuggin pull down junk wooden attic ladders at all.)
