    Heat Load ?

Just another in my line of infinitely annoying question....tthanks in advance

If I have a 4 ton 2 zone system (first floor is about 1100sq ft, upstairs is about 850 sq ft... since the A/C is sized for the entire house, shouldn't the first floor drop more than 20 degrees if only the first floor zone is calling for air?

    It probably should.
But, its still conditioning some of the second floor. Your dampers leak some. So it may take it awhile to do so.

How many times must one fix something before it is fixed?
