    Looking to expand product line

Since finding this site I have been inspired to ask more questions. You guys and gals for that matter give great feedback. I hope this next question isn't too far off base. We all know about the big boys in the business Trane, Lennox etc.

I have a customer that is willing to not go with one of the bigger boys and I have a line from dist. house to go with some of these and I wanted to get you honest feedback. 1800 sq single story home in climate zone 9.

    Thanks in advance

Nordyne products have a good warranty and hold up well. We sell Maytag which is the same thing basically.

We sell Tappan. Decent enough stuff. Key as a dealer is how the supplier will take care of you. Any tech support? Good pricing? Fast warranty turnaround? Do they stock parts? Delivery costs?

We just stick with the big boys. The other brands move around too much in my area. It's hard to tell who will be selling which of those brands in the next year or if anybody will. That and they just can't handle warranty issues quickly or efficiently. Make sure they're stable in your area and have been at the same supply house for at least a year.
