    Any rebates from state of goverment for new energy eff furnaces

    We installed a new hi eff Rheem furnace is there any rebates offered ?? I know my gas supplier is giving 500.00 but is the state of fed have anything ??

    We replaced an old oil furnace with gas

    Rebates vary from one utility to another. As for US Government, I believe the tax credits expired in February but are being discussed currently to be extened, though they haven't been approved yet. Check a good search engine for your state and/or utility supplier.
    If YOU want change, YOU have to first change.

    If you are waiting for the 'other guy' to change first, just remember, you're the 'other guy's' other guy. To continue to expect real change when you keep acting the same way as always, is folly. Won't happen. Real change will only happen when a majority of the people change the way they vote!

    The fed expired dec 31, 2007.
    Don't count on it being extended.
    You can ask your contractor about your state having any.
