    I'd keep fighting it -- seems like if 40 therms worth of gas went somewhere you'd either have a really warm house or a really strong ng smell...

    I agree... I cant even see that much gas being used if they bleed the lines . I still say the meter was not zeroed. I aslo dont see how they figure when the needle is beyween the 0 and the 1 why they dont call it 0 like on an elect meter instead they say " oh its 43" ????
