2 and 4 Valve Manifold
I'm just not understanding what advantage a 4 valve manifold would have over a 2 valve...? I don't see how you could possibly need 4 hoses at once? Could someone please help me out here, maybe I am missing something.

Some like the fact that you can have one to the vacuum pump and one to the cylinder. I however need them for 3 point evacuations.

I also us a 4 valve to charge big systems.I have a 3/8 to 1/4 black YJ that I use on the 3/8 port.Speeds up charging and recovery as well.

With a four valve manifold, tested hoses, and 2 VCRTs you can install/remove gasses or evac. very quickly, and smoothly transition between tasks without working as hard to keep out the plague (atmosphere

Also on a 4 valve manifold you can pull a vacuum on the 3/8" vacuum hose & use a micron gauge on the refrigerant charging hose at the same time.
