    Id have to agree by the time you heat it up, cool it down and bend it you could have brazed in a joint. But the only time I really ever use hard copper in on commercial jobs with long runs.

    have same bender with reversable, but use the hydra swage

    my hydra swage swages up to 2 1/8" but I still struggle with 3/8" & annealing the hard copper.
