YES, I sometimes run both the chillers and boilers, depending on humidity and temp.......that was the way the buildings were designed. (48 years ago)
One of the last issues of ASHRAE had an article about ARI members petetioning the Goverment to require upgrading the equipment/systems in Houses/buildings before they could be sold. I agree, this does not seem fair but little the Government does anymore is fair.
